MACKILLOP DRIVE RESERVE

Public BBQ

This sprawling reserve presents three interconnected playground areas linked by winding paths, creating distinct zones separated by hedges and plantings that lend each section an unexpectedly private feel. The creek crossing attracts resident ducks, whilst the generous grassed areas accommodate everything from vigorous walks to impromptu sports. Multiple covered picnic tables sit alongside barbecues, making it particularly well-suited for small gatherings and birthday parties. The combination of varied play equipment, accessible toilets, and convenient parking close to the entrance explains why families return repeatedly, with the separated zones allowing multiple groups to enjoy the space simultaneously without feeling crowded.
